The fabrics are just so pretty. I'm happy just watching it.

Not finished quite yet. But it's orange, so it has to be good.

It's much prettier in real life.
Not the only thing I've finished during the last few days, but definitively the one I like the best. The fabric is the leftovers from the skirt that can be seen in Weavezine.
Inte det enda som jag har gjort färdigt under de senaste dagarna, men helt klart den jag gillar mest. Tyget är spillet från kjolen som kan ses i Weavezine.

I've just joined the 6th annual SWAP contest over at Stitcher's guild. It was actually quite along time since did some garment sewing, so I'm so excited!
This is what I plan to make:

Sketches of 10 of the garments I plan to make.
For some time I've had an idea of making four groups of five garments. One group for each season and where one should be able to wear all five garments in a group at the same time.
The sketches and fabrics for the spring part have been ready for quite a while now. For the SWAP I've added the winter part too. I've not found all the fabrics for winter yet though, but the sketches are ready.
The SWAP calls for 11 garments, where one has to be some sort of jacket. Something that are meant to always be worn over something. The plans for that one is not entirely finished yet. I have some ideas that need more time evolve.

Screen shot of my article in Weavezine.
In the recent issue of Weavezine (a great online, free weaving magazine), there's an article written by me. It has instructions on how to make a skirt. How to make the fabric, how to make the pattern and how to sew it.
It did take some time to write the article and it was somewhat complicated as I'm not too familiar with the English terminology in weaving and sewing. But it does feel great to have written a published article. If you haven't already checked it out you can read it here!
Don't forget to take a look at the rest of the content on the Weavezine site and to listen the wonderful Weavecast podcast.
